Friday, April 19

Sparring Concepts and Practice … 10:00am to Noon
Lunch ... Noon to 2:00pm
Real Bo Self-Defense ... 2:00 to 4:00pm

Saturday, April 20

Combat Focus -- Blocks and Strikes … 10:00am to Noon
Catered Lunch ... Noon to 2:00pm
Sanbon Kumibo and Kobudo Choreography ... 2:00 to 4:00pm

Sunday, April 21

Kata in the Park and TUB TILTING! ... 10:00 to 11:45am
Post-event opportunities to film assignments or exams with encouragement, feedback, and assistance ... Noon to 2:00pm.

Travel Information

Ultimate Bo Live 2024 will be held at Washington Terrace Park, 101 Gordon Street, High Point, NC. The event hall has restrooms, a water fountain and access to a kitchen with fridge.
Drive directly to Greensboro, NC or fly into Piedmont Triad International (PTI) Airport.
Car rentals are available at PTI, and the event center is about 23 miles from PTI.
Many hotels and restaurants are available along Hwy 68 between PTI and the event center.

Other Arrangements

Your event fee includes lunch on Saturday, a rattan bo, and exclusive Ultimate Bo Live 2024 souvenir t-shirt and mug.
Bos and padded bos will be provided for training. If you plan to spar and have your own protective equipment (helmet, gloves, etc.), please bring it with you. A limited number of sparring masks will be provided.
You're welcome to bring your own kobudo weapons such as tonfa and sai.
Bring your spouse/partner and make it a mini vacation! Tourist activities in and around the area include: - International Civill Rights Center and Museum
- Guilford Courthouse National Military Park
- Asheville Zoo
- Kersey Valley Zip Line
- Greensboro Science Center
- Seagrove Pottery
- Local wineries.
